Cultural exhibitions open in Brežice and Dubrovnik

Several cultural exhibitions are opening in regional libraries. In Brežice, Slovenia, the Knjižnica Brežice is hosting ‘Od pomladi do zime s knjigo’ (From Spring to Winter with a Book), an exhibition by Renata Lazar. The display features unique felted creations made from sheep's wool using dry and wet felting techniques, connecting the world of books with handcrafted art.

In Dubrovnik, Croatia, the Narodna knjižnica Grad has opened a bilingual exhibition dedicated to the life and work of Franz Kafka. Curated by Blaženka Klemar Bubić and Ana Kužnar, the exhibition explores Kafka's literary contributions and his lesser-known visual works. It utilizes biographical data, photographs, and excerpts from letters and diaries to present the author as both a literary figure and a person, covering his relationships, health, and daily life.
