Cultural exhibitions open in Crotone and Foggia
Two new photographic and historical exhibitions have opened in Italy, focusing on community identity and the relationship between people and their environments.
In Crotone, Leonardo Scarriglia has launched “Volture. Utenze umane” at the Armando Lucifero Municipal Library. The exhibition features 49 portraits that pair the faces of library users with specific books, locations, or details significant to them. The project aims to illustrate the connection between reading and personal experience, showing how stories move from pages back into the lives of readers.
In Foggia, the exhibition “è Foggia – Impressioni, Origini, Desideri” has opened at the La Magna Capitana library. Supported by La Gazzetta del Mezzogiorno, the display contrasts historical archives with contemporary perspectives. It features 12 historic front pages from the early 20th century alongside works from ten professional photographers and nine local digital creators. The initiative includes a series of public meetings designed to foster dialogue between citizens and institutions regarding the city's cultural and social future.
