Cultural exhibitions open in Sopron and Levá
Two distinct cultural exhibitions have opened in Hungary and Slovakia. In Sopron, Hungary, nature painter Márta Dedinszky has opened a jubilee exhibition titled ‘Our Wonderful Planet, Earth’ at the Munkácsy Hall. The collection features 74 works, including hunting-themed paintings and depictions of flora and fauna. Dedinszky, who transitioned from an engineering career to art, noted that her hunting-themed pieces require significant attention to anatomical accuracy and environmental realism.
In Levá, Slovakia, the Barsi Museum is hosting a historical autograph exhibition curated by Dr. Zoltán Marián. The collection includes approximately 200 selected items from a private archive of nearly 3,000 signatures. The display features autographs from global figures ranging from Princess Diana to the Emperor of Japan, as well as various political leaders such as Alexander Dubček and Robert Fico. The exhibition is accompanied by the launch of an expanded book detailing the history behind these unique signatures.
