Cultural exhibitions scheduled for Laren and Heemskerk

Two cultural exhibitions are scheduled to open in the Netherlands on September 26, 2026.

In Laren, the Rosa Spier Huis will host a pop art exhibition by Hayo Sol, running through November 22, 2026. Sol, known for using metal and acrylic paints, Swarovski crystals, and diamond powder from Gassan Diamonds, creates three-dimensional works on silk-coated canvas. His work has been collected by figures such as Prince Albert of Monaco and former French President Sarkozy.

In Heemskerk, Mono’s will host a farewell exhibition for the band Bintangs from September 26 to October 10, 2026. The event aims to showcase 65 years of pop history through previously unseen vinyl, memorabilia, and documents. Members of the band are expected to be present to share stories during the exhibition.
