Cultural exhibitions scheduled for late 2026 in Bern and Germany

Several art exhibitions are scheduled to open in late 2026 across Switzerland and Germany.

In Bern, the HKB will host the “100 Best Posters” traveling exhibition from October 28 to November 19, 2026. The collection features 100 award-winning posters and series from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. The competition, which originally began in the GDR in the mid-1960s, selected its finalists from 676 entries totaling 2,297 posters.

In Germany, the Wilhelm-Hack Museum’s Rudolf-Scharpf-Galerie will present “Please Take Note” by sculptor André Wischnewski from October 24, 2026, to January 24, 2027. The exhibition includes drawings, sculptures, and installations made from paper, steel, and plaster.

Additionally, the Kaamp-Hüs gallery will host Oliver Marco Pohl’s “Cathedrals of Light” from November 2, 2026, to February 26, 2027. The exhibition features approximately 25 of the Sylt-based artist's “pictographies,” which blend photography, painting, and poetry through themes of light, water, and landscape.
