Cultural exhibitions scheduled in Brandenburg and Sonsbeck
Several cultural exhibitions are scheduled to open in Germany. In Brandenburg an der Havel, artist Jürgen Dunkel and choreographer Friederike Wulff are presenting an interdisciplinary project at the Johanniskirche. The exhibition features 22 large-format photographs, a short film, and a performance exploring societal, technological, and ecological crises. The program includes musical performances by the rock cover band Broken Tones and a ‘Silent Dancing’ event.
In Sonsbeck, the St. Gerebernuskapelle will host the exhibition ‘Hans-Dieter-Hüsch: Christlich heiter’ from October 17 to October 31, 2026. Developed by Werner Strompen and Saskia Herbst, the exhibit utilizes 12 panels based on approximately 400 texts written by Lower Rhine cabaret artist Hans-Dieter Hüsch regarding the Christian faith and the Catholic Church. The event includes musical accompaniment by Steffi Michaelis and an evening featuring Willi Hageney and Eva Zacharias.
