Cultural exhibitions scheduled in Minas Gerais and Belém
The Assembleia Cultural in Minas Gerais has announced a new cultural program featuring photography and instrumental music. Starting November 3, the Legislative Assembly of Minas Gerais Art Gallery will host two exhibitions: “Povo Kamaiurá – Alto Xingu” by Marcus Raio, which features 20 photographs of the Kamaiurá people, and “O chão que piso” by Nina de Souza-Lima, a series of paintings inspired by the Parque das Mangabeiras in Belo Horizonte. Additionally, the duo of Luísa Mitre and Maiara Moraes will perform their original repertoire, “Ecoar,” at the theater on November 5.
In Belém, the “Mostra de Grafismo Cultura Viva” exhibition is currently on display at the Centro Cultural Banco da Amazônia. The free exhibition brings together works from seven artists from Pará, utilizing urban art and graphic design to interpret Amazonian traditions. Featured themes include carimbó, the marujada de Bragança, boi Pavulagem, and the Círio Fluvial, with artists such as Ka Miranda and Helô Rodrigues contributing works that highlight regional identity and memory.
