Cultural fairs scheduled in La Sénia and Figueres

La Sénia is hosting its 18th Wood and Furniture Craft Fair alongside the 13th Furniture Festival. The event features over 40 exhibitors and aims to promote traditional craftsmanship and generational renewal within the sector. Activities include craft demonstrations, family workshops, and musical performances. A new space dedicated to the oral history and personal memories of the furniture industry will be featured this edition.

In Figueres, the 6th Cross-Border Independent Publishers Fair (FITEI) will take place on November 7. The event will host 17 Catalan independent publishing houses and include book sales, presentations, and roundtables. Filmmaker Sílvia Subirós is scheduled to deliver the inaugural proclamation.
