Cultural festivals and fashion events held in Italy's Lake Como region

Various cultural events are taking place in the Lake Como region of Italy.

The 15th edition of the Festival delle Corrispondenze is being held in Magione, Perugia. Under the theme “Vero. Falso. Finto. Le storie che diventano Storia”, the festival features 40 appointments with journalists and intellectuals to discuss the boundaries between information, manipulation, and propaganda.

In Varenna, the second edition of “Varenna Fashion Night” showcased Spring 2027 collections at Villa Cipressi. A highlight was the Bolivian Haute Couture collection by Piedades Villavicencio Rosselle and her sister Esmeralda, which used hand-painted silk to depict Amazonian flora and fauna, aiming to raise ecological awareness about the rainforest.

Additionally, the “Tra lago e monti” music festival, directed by Maestro Roberto Porroni, is concluding its 2026 season. Upcoming performances include “Bach in jazz” on September 5 in Corenno Plinio and “Two Worlds” on September 9 in Varenna, featuring saxophone and guitar.
