Various cultural events focusing on folklore, music, and traditional dance are taking place across Italy. In Recanati, the 1st Festival delle Tradizioni Marchigiane is scheduled for October 24, 2026, at the Auditorium Centro Mondiale della Poesia. The festival features the Saltarello Marchigiano dance, workshops on traditional instruments like the accordion, and lectures on emigration history.

In Puglia, the Orchestra Sinfonica di Lecce e del Salento is presenting “Paesaggi sonori,” a musical program spanning Renaissance dances to jazz. Performances are scheduled for October 23 in Cutrofiano and October 24 in Lecce, featuring soloists Nicola Bertolini and Raffaele Bertolini.

Additionally, a conference titled “Danza e rito” was held on October 3 and 4 at the Museo Sigismondo Castromediano in Lecce. Part of the “Dal Salento ad Aquileia” project, the event explored the relationship between ritual, dance, and heritage, comparing the traditions of Salento and Friuli Venezia Giulia.
