Cultural festivals and theatrical productions held in Greece

The 64th Lefkada International Folklore Festival continued on Tuesday, August 25, featuring six dance ensembles. The performances included traditional dances from Asia Minor and the Voio region of Kozani, alongside international groups from the Czech Republic, Romania, France, and Serbia.

In Thessaloniki, the State Theatre of Northern Greece is presenting its summer production, ‘The Diary of Adam and Eve’, at the Macedonian Studies Society. Directed by Efi Drosou, the play offers a modern interpretation of Mark Twain’s work, focusing on the human connection and curiosity between the two protagonists before the Fall.
