Cultural festivals announced for Gijón and Tenerife

The 13th edition of the Oktoberfest de Gijón is scheduled to take place at the El Bibio bullring from August 26 to September 6. This year, the festival will feature 13 stalls, each equipped with five taps, offering a variety of beers. Organizers noted that the event attracts significant numbers of visitors from outside the city. While most stalls will offer various beer brands, the 'Café Parchís' stall will focus on non-alcoholic, gluten-free, and soft drink options. The festival also includes a diverse gastronomic offering from several local establishments.

In Puerto de la Cruz, the 11th Tenerife Phe Festival will be held on September 4 and 5. The upcoming edition places a strong emphasis on local Canary Islands talent, featuring artists such as Choclock, Xerach, Belice, Good Franco, and Pequeña Alaska. The lineup is rounded out by a mix of national and international performers, including Fat Dog, Ibibio Sound Machine, and Natalia Doco, alongside electronic music programming at the Phe Club.
