Cultural festivals announced for Rosario and Polop de la Marina

Several cultural events are scheduled for mid-August. In Rosario, Argentina, the 15th edition of Crack Bang Boom, an international comic convention, will take place from August 13 to 16. Hosted at various venues including the Centro de Expresiones Contemporáneas, the festival features artists, illustrators, and writers such as Chris Bachalo and Peter Milligan. The programming includes workshops, book presentations, the Trillo Awards, and a cosplay competition.

In Polop de la Marina, Spain, the Les Festes del Porrat will be celebrated from August 13 to 16. Originating from a traditional market known as a "porrat," the festivities honor San Roque. The event includes a parade of humor, musical performances, and communal gatherings in various town squares.
