Cultural festivals announced for Sardinia and Messina

The 11th edition of the ‘Itinerari Musicali dell’Identità’ festival will take place from October 11 to December 27, featuring performances in Cagliari, Sassari, and Iglesias. Funded by the Sardinia Region, the event aims to showcase both international stars and local Sardinian talent. The program includes concerts by world-renowned classical pianist Valentina Lisitsa, with performances dedicated to Chopin and Liszt.

In Sicily, the eighth edition of the Messina Street Food Fest is scheduled for October 15 to 18 in Piazza Cairoli. Organized by Eventivamente in partnership with the Municipality of Messina, the festival will feature 50 food stalls, show cooking sessions, and eight craft breweries. The event is part of a broader culinary tour that extends from Messina through Calabria, Campania, Puglia, and Abruzzo.
