Cultural festivals announced for Slatina and Radimlja

Several cultural events are scheduled in the region, including the third Stjepan Mlakar Patriotic Film Festival in Slatina. Taking place from September 14 to 16 at the Pučko otvoreno učilište Slatina, the festival honors Croatian defenders and victims of the Homeland War. The program features documentary films, panel discussions with directors, and a new official jury award. Admission to the festival is free.

Additionally, the fourth edition of the Klape na Radimlji musical spectacle will be held on September 13 at the Radimlja necropolis near Stolac. The event features seven traditional klapa groups from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia performing in an open-air setting amidst the historical stećci monuments. Organized by Udruga Kulturni preporod and the Mostar-based klapa Ero, the event aims to merge musical heritage with historical sites. Entry is free for all visitors.
