Cultural festivals announced in Chile and Paraguay

The fifth edition of the Ladera Sur Festival is scheduled for November 13, 14, and 15, 2026, at Parque Santa Rosa de Apoquindo. As a prominent nature and sustainability event in Chile and Latin America, the festival will feature over 100 speakers and 15 bands. Notable participants include Alexandra Cousteau and insect expert Cristóbal Spratz.

In Paraguay, the Festival de la Raza will hold its next edition on October 10 in Villarrica. The event features a diverse musical lineup including Los Nocheros, Tierra Adentro, and Kchiporros, spanning folklore, pop, and contemporary styles. The program includes a 'Giant Night' to honor community members, alongside theater, poetry, and dance performances.
