Cultural festivals announced in Granada and Elche

Granada will host the 15th Japanese Culture Week from October 31 to November 8. Organized by the CrossOver Cultural Association in collaboration with the Granada City Council, the event features the Matsuri Festival at Bib-Rambla plaza on October 31 and November 1. The festival includes a market with 21 stalls offering gastronomy, crafts, and anime-related products, alongside activities such as tea ceremonies, calligraphy workshops, origami, and anime soundtrack concerts.

In Elche, the Sala de la Tramoia is launching its 44th edition of School and Family Theater starting October 27. The program includes over 60 performances by approximately 11 companies from Spain and Italy, running through April. The initiative aims to foster new audiences and provide inclusive cultural projects, including specific programming for students with disabilities.

Additionally, the TIF Granada Performing Arts Festival for Children, Youth, and Family begins its school calendar on October 29 at the Teatro Municipal del Zaidín. The program, which runs until December 4, involves over 2,500 students and features 14 performances from various Spanish regions, including Andalusia, Madrid, Valencia, Catalonia, La Rioja, and Castilla-La Mancha.
