Cultural festivals announced in Italy including Simply Red in Pompeii

Several cultural and musical events are being highlighted in Italy. The ‘Napoli nel cuore’ festival returns to the Auditorium Parco della Musica, featuring a diverse cast of artists including Teresa De Sio, who is celebrating 50 years of her career. The lineup also includes Mauro Di Domenico, Stefano Fresi, and Cristiana Polegri, alongside returning performers such as Pino Ammendola, Vittorio Viviani, and Lorenzo Hengeller.

Additionally, the fourth edition of the ‘Beats of Pompeii’ (B.O.P.) festival has announced its 2027 lineup. The soul-pop band Simply Red, led by Mick Hucknall, is scheduled to perform at the Pompeii Archaeological Park Amphitheatre on July 27, 2027, as part of their ‘Summer Funk ‘27’ tour. This follows a successful previous edition that drew 45,000 attendees.
