International art and film festivals scheduled for October 2026

Various international cultural festivals and art events are scheduled for October 2026. In Tampico, Mexico, the Harto Arte International Urban Art Festival will run from October 14 to 18, featuring over 60 artists who will transform urban spaces, including retaining walls on Adolfo López Mateos Boulevard and areas near the Tampico Bridge, through murals and creative interventions.

In Spain, several regional events are taking place. The XIII edition of the Premios Pávez Film Festival in Talavera de la Reina will run from October 16 to 24, showcasing 80 short films selected from nearly 1,000 entries. The festival serves as a qualifier for the Goya Awards. Additionally, the Palenciana Fest in Córdoba will be held from October 15 to 18, focusing on urban art and the visibility of female artists in rural areas to commemorate International Rural Women's Day.

Other notable events include the ‘Disoñamos’ Designers' Meeting in Palma del Río, scheduled for October 16 to 18, which promotes Andalusian fashion and design. In Mexico City, the RÍOS DE COLOR International Art Festival will host exhibitions and workshops through November 8, aiming to foster cultural exchange and artistic talent.
