Cultural festivals begin in Las Palmas and Argentina

Various cultural festivities have commenced in Spain and Argentina. In Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Mayor Carolina Darias inaugurated the traditional Chapuzón de La Naval at Las Canteras beach. This event is part of the celebrations honoring Nuestra Señora de La Luz and includes parades, musical performances, and a naval battle commemoration.

In Argentina, the tenth edition of Isla Fest opened at the Centro Náutico del Fuerte. The festival began with a traditional 'espiche' ceremony led by Raíces Alemanas. The multi-day event features a variety of live musical acts, including Los Abuelos de la Nada and Vieja Minga, alongside gastronomic offerings.
