CCAR launches financial management training for farmers

The Agricultural and Rural Advisory Center (CCAR) is launching a training program titled ‘Money in Agriculture: How We Earn, Manage, and Multiply It Wisely’. The initiative is designed to help agricultural producers, specifically small and medium-sized farmers, better manage their income, expenses, and investments.

The training sessions will be held in two series between September 29 and November 19, 2026, across eight different locations. This program is implemented with support from the European Fund for South-Eastern Europe and receives financial assistance from the European Union.

Participants will learn to maintain clear records of revenue and expenditures, calculate real production costs, and distinguish between profit and available cash for current payments. The curriculum also covers agricultural financing, comparing credit offers, and understanding the use of subsidies and grants. Additionally, the program emphasizes investment evaluation to help producers assess costs and benefits before making financial decisions.
