Cultural festivals celebrate diversity in Subotica and wine heritage in Budapest

The 25th Interetno Festival took place in Subotica, serving as a platform for cultural diversity through music and dance. The event featured performances from groups representing Bolivia, Indonesia, Turkey, Chile, Hungary, and Transylvania. In addition to concerts, the festival included a market, craft workshops, and traditional food. Local officials noted the festival's role in promoting openness and cultural dialogue within the multi-ethnic region.

Meanwhile, the 35th Budapest Wine Festival is preparing for its anniversary edition, scheduled for September 9–12. The festival will feature over a thousand wines and sparkling wines, including selections from the Americas. This year introduces a new ‘Explorer’ day ticket, allowing visitors to explore wineries and speak with winemakers at a slower pace during the afternoon hours. The event is supported by SPAR Hungary, which is also celebrating its 35th anniversary.
