Cultural festivals feature EU Evening and Etno Fest performances

The Ohrid Summer Festival will feature the 19th annual EU Evening on August 9, 2026. Organized by the European Union Delegation, the concert titled "Last Rose of Summer" will take place at the Church of St. Sophia. The performance features international musicians Johanna Keszei on flute, David Tobin on violin, and Finghin Collins on piano.

Separately, the fifth night of Etno Fest 2026 showcased a blend of traditional and modern music. The program included folk dances by the "Afërdita" Ensemble and a tribute concert to Albanian musician Nexhmije Pagarusha, featuring soprano Arta Jashari and pianist Pranvera Hoxha. Other performances included the Sedat Kuçi Trio and the group "Dhjetori."
