Cultural festivals held in Albania and Dibra

Albania is hosting Chinese Cultural Week from September 22 to 25. The event, announced by Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sport Blendi Gonxhja, features traditional Chinese arts, music, literature, and history. Key activities include traditional puppet theater performances in Tirana and Vlorë, as well as literary promotions such as the Albanian-language release of ‘Chinese Legend’.

In Dibra, the ‘Albanian Theatre in Macedonia’ festival is celebrating its 25th anniversary. The jubilee edition will feature seven nights of theatrical productions from North Macedonia, Kosovo, and Albania. The program includes works by international playwrights such as Samuel Beckett and Martin McDonagh, with a focus on a mix of drama and comedy.
