Cultural festivals held in Alhama de Murcia and Almería

Alhama de Murcia participated in the 54th International Week of the Orchard and the Sea in Los Alcázares, showcasing the municipality's cultural and agricultural identity. Led by Mayor Rosa Sánchez, the delegation promoted local products such as table grapes, provided by companies El Ciruelo and Cerón Fruit, and featured traditional music and dance from the Villa de Alhama Folkloric Group.

In Almería, the city and province have commenced the Almería Fair in honor of the Virgen del Mar. The celebration includes various traditional activities such as the Battle of Flowers and the 'Sabores Almería' gastronomic space. Singer David Bisbal has been named the herald for the Virgen del Mar, marking the 525th anniversary of the image's appearance and the 75th anniversary of its Canonical Coronation.
