Various cultural events are taking place in Brazil, including the 19th Cavalgada do Arapuá and the 18th Amapá Jazz Festival.
The Cavalgada do Arapuá drew over 8,000 people to the Arapuá district over two days. The event featured more than 300 horses and celebrated sertaneja traditions with music and community gatherings. Três Lagoas Mayor Dr. Cassiano Maia participated in the procession to support local cultural identity.
In Macapá, the 18th Amapá Jazz Festival is scheduled for October 22 to 24 at the Casa do Artesão. The festival offers free admission and includes performances by local, national, and international artists. The program features instrumental music, workshops, and debates, while also highlighting regional traditions such as Marabaixo and Batuque.
