Cultural festivals held in Berazategui and Guatemala City

The Indian Film Festival was held in Berazategui, Argentina, at the La Humanitaria Municipal Cultural Complex. The event, which included traditional dance performances, was organized to coincide with India's Independence Day on August 15. The festival aimed to introduce Argentine audiences to representative Indian cinema and culture. The opening ceremony featured Berazategui Mayor Carlos Balor and the Indian Ambassador to Argentina and Uruguay, Ajaneesh Kumar.

In Guatemala, the second Encuentro de Conviteros is scheduled for September 27 in Guatemala City. The event will feature 139 groups representing 99 municipalities and at least 20 departments. Under the theme ‘Where there is a convite, there is the living history of the peoples,’ approximately 4,000 participants will perform in two parades through the Historic Center, both concluding at the Plaza de la Constitución.
