Cultural festivals held in Brandenburg and Berlin

Brandenburg an der Havel is hosting its 25th Höfefest, featuring a record 45 participating courtyards and venues. The event includes live music, art, and culinary offerings, with highlights such as a concert by the band Schnaftl Ufftschick and various programs at the Stadtmuseum and Fouqué-Bibliothek.

In Berlin, the Waldsiedlung Zehlendorf is preparing for a dual celebration in 2026, marking its 100th anniversary and its recent inclusion in the UNESCO World Heritage list as part of the ‘Siedlungen der Berliner Moderne’. To commemorate this, the ‘Siedlungen der Berliner Moderne’ festival will take place from August 27 to 30, featuring architecture tours, workshops, open-air cinema, and musical performances by the Stegreif Orchester Berlin.
