Cultural festivals held in Chapultepec and Zacatecas

Various cultural festivals are taking place in Mexico, featuring diverse artistic expressions. In Mexico City, the 22nd edition of the Poetry in High Voice Festival (Poesía en Voz Alta) is being held in Chapultepec Forest. Directed by Cinthya García Leyva, the event titled ‘Todavía un resonar’ explores the relationship between the voice, the body, and public space through music, performance, and videopoetry.

In Zacatecas, the 23rd International Street Theater Festival features international performances, including the piece ‘RoZéO: L’Oscillation du paysage’ by the French company Gratte Ciel. The production, which previously appeared at the Paris Olympics, utilizes contemporary circus elements with performers suspended on 10-meter poles to evoke natural landscapes. Local theater groups, such as DementeNmente Teatro, are also participating in the festival's programming.
