Cultural festivals held in Curitiba and Atibaia

Various cultural festivals are taking place across Brazil this weekend. In Curitiba, the Festival da Primavera continues its circuit through several city landmarks, including the Botanical Garden, Parque Gomm, and the Ukrainian Memorial. The festival features over 80 free performances scheduled through October, ranging from rock and MPB to samba and choral music. New stages at Parque Gomm and Praça da Espanha will showcase local talent, including artists like Olivia Yells and Deisy Parno.

In Atibaia, the 44th Flower and Strawberry Festival concludes this weekend at the Parque Ecológico de Atibaia. The event includes cultural presentations, a cosplay contest, and a Japanese-themed exhibition featuring over one million petals. The festival also offers various culinary options, including Brazilian and Japanese cuisine, alongside musical performances such as Taiko and the Escola de Samba Independência de Atibaia.
