Cultural festivals held in Itapevi and Petrópolis

Various cultural events took place in Brazil this Sunday. In Itapevi, the second edition of the Samba Rock Fest was held at the Ginásio de Esportes. Organized by the Comissão Pró-DJ de Itapevi and supported by the local government, the event featured several DJs, including Nivaldo, Edinardo, and Hermínio, alongside a food court to celebrate samba rock culture.

In Petrópolis, the 14th Band Festival was held at Praça Visconde de Mauá. Organized by the Associação Petropolitana de Bandas (Apeban), the festival featured 17 martial music groups, including 13 from Petrópolis and four from other municipalities. The event served as a significant opportunity for the bands to perform after rain prevented presentations during the Independence Day celebrations.
