Cultural festivals held in Naoussa and Rhodes

Various cultural festivals took place in Greece on October 10, 2026. In Naoussa, the 14th ‘Freedom’s Dawn’ Choral Festival was held at the Naoussa Municipal Theatre. Organized by the Naoussa Conservatory and the Municipality of Naoussa, the event commemorated the 114th anniversary of the city's liberation. Participating groups included the Kythira Mixed Choir ‘Kephos’, the Anatolia American College Alumni Association Mixed Choir, the Komotini Choral Music Friends Association Mixed Choir ‘Evmolpos’, and the Naoussa Conservatory Mixed Choir and Mandolinata.

In Rhodes, the 8th International ‘European Polyphony’ Festival concluded with an aerial musical performance by Compagnie Transe Express titled ‘Maudits Sonnants’ at Liberty Square. The spectacle featured a giant aerial construction known as the ‘Celestial Carillon,’ combining theater, music, and acrobatics. The festival's closing ceremonies also included performances by the Rhodes Music School Percussion Ensemble, the Rhodes Municipal Dance School, and Base and Fly Acrobatics.
