Cultural festivals held in Rancho Queimado and Marechal Cândido Rondon

Various cultural and agricultural festivals are taking place in the Brazilian states of Santa Catarina and Paraná.

In Rancho Queimado, the Erdbeerfest 2026 is being held in the Taquaras district at Praça Teófilo Schutz. The event marks the official opening of the Strawberry Station and focuses on local strawberry production and German culinary traditions. Highlights include the VIII Regional Strawberry Culture Seminar, a gastronomic competition, the launch of the Rural Paths Route, and the selection of the 33rd Strawberry Festival royalty.

Simultaneously, the 36th Oktoberfest in Marechal Cândido Rondon is entering its final day. The celebration features the Copa Germânica, traditional folk dance groups, and various beer-related competitions such as 'Chope em Metro' and 'Schnelltrinken'. Musical performances by several bands are scheduled throughout the evening and early morning hours at the local exhibition park and event center.
