Cultural festivals held in São Paulo state
Various cultural celebrations are taking place in the state of São Paulo, Brazil. The city of Serra Negra is marking its 198th anniversary this September with the Festa d’Italia, held from September 18 to 23. The festivities include musical performances, traditional Italian dance, and gastronomy to honor the region's Italian immigration history. A free concert by the band Jota Quest is scheduled for September 22 at the Recinto de Exposições Casco de Ouro.
Additionally, Sesc São Paulo is celebrating its 80th anniversary with the Festival Sesc 80 Anos. From September 11 to 13, various Sesc units across the capital, coast, and interior will host free programming, including musical shows by artists such as Silva, Elba Ramalho, and Rincon Sapiência. The festival also features theater, circus acts, fashion workshops, and art exhibitions, such as 'O Mundo Através da IA'.
