Cultural festivals held in Tlaxcala and Monclova

In Tlaxcala, Governor Lorena Cuéllar Cisneros led the 2026 Fair Parade, which drew over 7,000 attendees. Organized by the State Secretariat of Public Education and the State Educational Services Unit (SEPE-USET), the event featured more than 90 contingents, including 40 educational and 50 business and institutional groups. The parade included floats inspired by Day of the Dead traditions and hosted the second Float Contest involving 18 educational units.

In Monclova, the Pumpkin Festival at Eco Parque attracted more than 2,500 visitors during its inaugural day. Led by the Higher Technological Institute of Monclova in collaboration with various universities, the festival features themed modules and photographic stages. Mayor Carlos Villarreal Pérez noted that the programming will continue through October 31, as part of broader local efforts to celebrate regional identity and autumn traditions.
