Cultural festivals highlight music and literature in Altötting and Speinshart

Cultural events in Germany are highlighting musical and literary diversity through various festivals. In Altötting, the ‘Fest der Sinne’ 2026 is set to transform the Kapellplatz with light installations, musical performances, and literary readings. The event features organ music at the Stiftspfarrkirche, book presentations by Helene Winter at the Klosterkirche St. Magdalena, and readings by Mitzi Irsaj and Susanne Ackstaller at the Stadtgalerie.

In Speinshart, the summer concert series concluded at the baroque Klosterkirche. The finale featured the wind ensemble from the Festival of Young Artists Bayreuth, performing under the theme ‘RE:SONANZ’. The event served as a meeting point for musical exchange and diverse artistic expression.
