Cultural festivals highlight regional traditions in Albenga and Canicattini Bagni

Various cultural events are taking place across Italy, highlighting regional traditions and social inclusion. In Albenga, author Gino Rapa is scheduled to present a program at the Ester Siccardi cloister on August 19. The event, organized with the Municipality of Albenga, will explore the linguistic and musical diversity of Italian regions through traditional songs and local expressions.

In Canicattini Bagni, the 4th edition of the Festival del Rifugiato drew thousands of attendees on August 14 and 15. Promoted by Mayor Paolo Amenta in collaboration with the Ministry of the Interior and the Sicilian Region, the festival celebrates the town's history of hospitality and integration. Musical performances included Consuelo Alfieri and Lello Analfino & T Orkestar, set against a backdrop of local markets and traditional food festivals.
