Cultural festivals in Friuli and Cremona announce upcoming musical programs

The Carniarmonie festival concludes on September 5, 2026, with events in Prato Carnico and Tolmezzo. The program includes a Bach concert at the Laboratorio Fratelli Leita, followed by the musical opera ‘55 secondi’ at the Teatro Luigi Candoni in Tolmezzo. This musical work, commissioned by the Istituzione Musicale e Sinfonica del Friuli Venezia Giulia, commemorates the 50th anniversary of the 1976 Friuli earthquake, referencing the 55-second duration of the seismic event.

In Cremona, the Cremona Summer Festival 2026 will host performances at Palazzo Fodri on September 9 and 11. The September 9 concert features the Austrian tonart Jugendsinfonieorchester, directed by Markus Pferscher. On September 11, the Swiss chamber group Ensemble Microcosme, led by violinist Franck-Edouard Bernard, will perform. Both concerts are free to the public.
