Cultural festivals in Huelva and Biarritz feature international jazz and cinema

The third edition of the Huelva Ibero-American Jazz Festival will take place from November 12 to 21, coinciding with the Ibero-American Film Festival to expand the city's cultural offerings. Key international performers include American guitarist Al Di Meola, performing on November 20 at Casa Colón, and Mexican singer Magos Herrera, performing on November 19. The program also features local musicians and diverse genres including flamenco, Brazilian music, and soul.

In France, the Biarritz Amérique Latine Festival continues to serve as a meeting point for Hispanic-American cinema. Mexican actress Marina de Tavira is attending the festival to present ‘Siempre soy tu animal materno’, the second feature film by Franco-Costa Rican director Valentina Maurel. De Tavira, who previously shared the Best Actress award at Cannes, portrays a Mexican poet naturalized in Costa Rica. She is accompanied by her partner, Diego Luna, who is presenting his film ‘Ceniza en la boca’.
