Cultural festivals in Spain celebrate poetry and music

Various cultural events in Spain have recently highlighted the intersection of poetry and music. The 2026 Lloseta Poetry Festival concluded with a dynamic recital at the Lloseta Theatre, featuring poets such as Lluís Maicas, Laia Malo, Josep Pedrals, Lucia Pietrelli, Cèlia Sànchez-Mústich, and Eva Tur. The event included musical accompaniment by the duet Cristina Llabrés and Evaristo Pons and commemorated the centenaries of Joan Alcover and Blai Bonet.

In L’Olleria, the Sopar Estellés celebration was held at La Casa Santonja to honor the work of poet Vicent Andrés Estellés. The event featured a guided tour of the local heritage led by chronicler Josep Vicent Vidal, followed by a collective reading of Estellés’ poems and a musical performance by singer-songwriter Tomàs de los Santos.
