Cultural festivals in Spain feature Rodrigo Leão and Rodrigo Cuevas

The 75th edition of the Santander International Festival features upcoming performances at the Sala Pereda. On Tuesday, Portuguese composer and multi-instrumentalist Rodrigo Leão will present ‘Os Portugueses: O Rapaz da montanha’. On Wednesday, the Cuarteto Quiroga will perform alongside baritone José Antonio López to present the work ‘Revés’, which incorporates the poetry of Jesús Ruiz Mantilla and compositions by Israel López Estelche.

In another cultural event, Asturian artist Rodrigo Cuevas performed ‘Al pie del llar’ at the Teatro Manuel Doblado as part of the 29th International Festival of Contemporary Art (FIACmx). The concert focused on traditional folk music and ancestral songs, moving away from electronic or transgressive styles to explore themes of family heritage and rural life.
