Cultural festivals promote community engagement in Łomża and Wrocław
Various cultural initiatives are taking place across Poland, focusing on literature and dance to foster community integration.
In Łomża, the Dance Europe Festival is being held at the Old Market Square as part of the ‘Common Place. Common Europe. Łomża 2026’ project organized by the Youth Human Impact association. The event combines dance with literature and civic education, featuring a library zone with workshops and meetings designed to build social ties and highlight European heritage.
In Wrocław, the 15th edition of the European Night of Literature recently took place in the Borek district. Under the theme ‘Community – or how to find what was never lost’, ten actors performed literary excerpts in various locations throughout the neighborhood. As a member of the UNESCO City of Literature Network since 2019, Wrocław continues to promote reading through such public engagement activities.
