Cultural festivals promote tourism and heritage in Agrigento and Sermoneta

Various cultural events are taking place across Italy to promote local heritage and international exchange. In Agrigento, the Momentum event is scheduled for August 21 at the Cava – Teatro dell’Efebo. Organizers Mirko and Andrea Franco stated the initiative aims to promote the territory and its excellence, noting a significant influx of visitors to local accommodations and cultural sites such as the Valley of the Temples and Scala dei Turchi.

Meanwhile, the tenth edition of the international festival ‘Sermoneta in folklore’ is being held in Sermoneta. The event features folk groups from Taiwan, Paraguay, Mexico, and Ecuador, alongside Italian performers. Organized by the Sbandieratori Ducato Caetani in collaboration with the local municipality and the Lazio Region, the festival aims to foster peace and cultural exchange through free public performances in various locations, including Piazza del Popolo and Campo Vecchio.
