Cultural festivals scheduled for August in Corroios and Cinfães

Portugal will host two distinct music and cultural festivals in late August.

The 49th edition of the Festas Populares de Corroios will take place from August 21 to 30 at the Parque Urbano da Quinta da Marialva. The event features a diverse musical lineup including The Legendary Tigerman, Santamaria, Ricardo Ribeiro, Vítor Kley, Valete, and Diogo Piçarra. The festivities also include folklore, choral performances, children's shows, and a pyromusical closing ceremony. Entry requires a 10-euro solidarity ticket.

In Cinfães, the Douro Green Fest returns to the Parque de Lazer de Mourilhe from August 28 to 30. Located near the Carrapatelo Dam, this youth-oriented festival offers three days of music and animation along the Douro River. The lineup includes various DJ sets and musical acts such as Primavera, Badoxa, and Jemile Bahiana, concluding with a sunset session on the final day.
