Cultural festivals scheduled in Abruzzo for August 2026

Various cultural events are scheduled across the Abruzzo region in August 2026. In Pianella, the L'Estate dell'Aratro festival will host the dance performance ‘Since You Are Gone – Un dialogo con l'inafferrabile’ on August 23 at the Tenda Yurta. The piece, created by Fabiana Carchesio and Domenico Tucci, explores themes of loss and rebirth through movement.

In Chieti, the Chieti sotto le Stelle festival features a performance by Peppe Servillo and the Abruzzo Ensemble on August 19 in Piazza San Giustino. The show, titled ‘Scètate’, offers an acoustic interpretation of Neapolitan musical and classical traditions.
