Argentina hosts diverse cultural and gastronomic festivals across provinces
Various regions across Argentina are hosting diverse cultural, gastronomic, and educational events throughout September 2026.
In Buenos Aires, the Festival Internacional de Buenos Aires (FIBA) has commenced, featuring productions from 15 countries across 44 venues. In Córdoba, the Semana de los Centros Culturales will offer over 80 activities, including workshops and performances. Meanwhile, Tucumán continues its 66th Septiembre Musical with various concerts and film screenings.
Gastronomic and community festivals are also prominent. The Expo Yerba Mate y Alfajores in Chaco showcases regional products, while Venado Tuerto prepares for the first Provincial Yerba Mate Festival. In Esquel and Comodoro Rivadavia, festivals celebrating immigrant communities and diverse cultures are scheduled to highlight local traditions.
Educational and specialized events include the 44th Jornadas de Estudiantes de Ingeniería Industrial in Jujuy and a major international meeting for museum educators in Catamarca. Additionally, sports and local arts are active, with national women's futsal in Bariloche and various musical cycles in Trelew and Tolhuin.
