Cultural festivals scheduled in Minas Gerais, Brazil

Various cultural festivals are scheduled to take place in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil.

In Contagem, the 5th Contagem Geek Festival will be held on August 15 at Parque Cataguás. As the largest free pop culture event in the state, the festival features cosplay, K-pop dance, and music. The event aims to encourage creative expression and will include a special appearance by prominent Brazilian voice actress Úrsula Bezerra.

In Betim, the Dona Antônia Art and Culture Festival will take place at Praça Milton Campos from August 14 to August 16. Organized by Casa Cultural Dona Antônia, the free event includes musical performances such as a Charlie Brown Jr. tribute, the “Canções da Estrada” project, and various family-oriented activities including magic shows and children's recreation.
