Cultural festivals scheduled in Terlizzi and Bitonto

Various cultural events are scheduled in the Puglia region of Italy. In Terlizzi, the fourth edition of the “Piazza ai Burattini” festival will take place from September 10 to 12, 2026. The festival features puppet and figure theater performances in public squares and streets, including an international appearance by the Teatro Correquetepillo from Valparaíso, Chile.

In Bitonto, the cultural association Just Imagine, in collaboration with Meo Romeo, will host an outdoor screening of Charlie Chaplin’s 1921 film “The Kid” on September 8, 2026, at Piazza Cattedrale. The event serves as a launch for the “Storie” school program and includes a debate on the cinematic and pedagogical figure of the “monello” (rascal), coinciding with the bicentenary of Carlo Collodi’s birth.
