Cultural festivities held in Łódź and Gdańsk

Cultural festivities took place in two Polish cities this weekend. In Łódź, a Sambodrom parade featuring nearly 100 artists marched through Piotrkowska Street. The event included the Bateria Samba Batucady percussion group, dancers in colorful costumes, and capoeira demonstrations, allowing pedestrians to join the procession.

In Gdańsk, an event held during the St. Dominic's Fair focused on supporting the Father Eugeniusz Dutkiewicz SAC Hospice Foundation. The volunteer-themed day included sports demonstrations, crafts, and musical performances by international artists, such as soprano Anna Koźlakiewicz and American baritone John Andrew Fernandez, to raise funds for hospice reconstruction.
