The couple, who have been together for 25 years and married since 2008, recently appeared at a public health event in Zagreb. Ungar has noted that the age difference has never been an obstacle to their relationship.

Six years after his passing, Knežević described how they maintain his presence in their home through shared traditions and keepsakes.
